Church History

The first services of Family Life Church, which was then Family Worship Center, were held in January of 1985, at 1100 N Park Lane. Pastors Jan Ivan and Cindy Oden, along with their children, Jandi and Joel, and six other families came together under the corporation “Assembly of Jesus Christ of Altus”, taking “Family Worship Center” as its name.

In the following years, the FLC family grew numerically and has served hundreds of families, inside and outside her doors. In 2008, 1100 N Park Lane was sold. At that time the decision was made to rename the church “Family Life Church”. In 2010 we purchased our current facility, here at 1901 Falcon Road.

Today, this exciting journey continues! We are moving forward, bringing the good news that Jesus is alive and saves today! FLC continues to lead a generation to spiritual maturity and a closer walk with God.
